Significance
Supposedly "all authors do not choose a title randomly but usually the title is symbolic in some way." Whenever I pick up a book I read the title. Then I look at the picture on the cover and judge if I want to read it. Yes, I am a 'judge the book by it's cover" kind of person. After hearing this saying/fact, I looked through all my books and even all of my movies. All of the titles had some way of labeling the story. The more books and movies I looked at, it got more and more interesting because I haven't really thought about the deeper meaning beyond a "title". I was looking through my movies and saw Premonition, thinking I may want to watch it, but i thought of how it related to the story. So I looked up the meaning and it said a forewarning or a feeling of anticipation. It's exactly what the whole movie is about! Along with Thirteen Reasons Why. 13 people gave Hannah Baker a reason to kill herself. In this reading we have found out who 10 of these people are. 3 more people have yet to be revealed. We also found out that after the night of the party she went home and wrote down all the people she thought of that night and formed connections with all of them to create an option to help her; to kill herself. From now on I'll always think to tie the title of something into the main story instead of judging something by the cover!
